you greedy people. you get 97.4% of current maximum training speed AND you are getting all skill points from Learning skills. how is that NOT SP from thin air?
so, training speed goes down 72 SP/hour? so what? is world gonna crumble down? by what god given right you claim it? this is CCP's game. read the EULA. they can change every single thing.
is this some kind of "lets fight them now because who knows what's gonna come next"? this is nothing. this is not important. fight the fight when it matters.
stop claiming what you have absolutely no right for.

just do the math. if attributes remained exactly the same, but Learning skills were removed from the game (except for effect on attributes), would you be missing anything? no, you wouldn't. not a single point.

and that's why you get skill points reimbursed to compensate for the loss of maximum training speed. it will last you for up to 8 years of current maximum speed. read devblog thread, it's all there. multiple times. people already did the math.
if you really want fairness and equality, you should ask CCP NOT to reimburse Learning skills, so that everyone will have same training speed. how about that?

What I'm getting from everyone who's arguing with me is...I'm wrong to seek fairness and equality. Those are not desirable. Those are not to be had. Those are not anyone's right to seek out. I think I'm in the Twilight Zone.
you are not seeking "fairness and equality". you are trying to maintain Status Quo. why is your sense of aesthetics more important than anyone elses? why was 39 base attribute points points CCP gave us for this 7 years better than 40? why will 99 be better than 100? why 2700 and not 2772?
the point is, however you cut it, someone is gonna get hurt. there is no pleasing everyone. what is so important in 72 SP/hour that you got to have them? is that really so crucial to your enjoyment of the game? just because you train at 2772 now, doesn't mean you should only be training faster, and not slower. why is it so important? you already have bunch of SP. why do you want even more?
certainly not for "fairness and equality".

i would just like to publicly apologize to Pantload. regardless of what i may think of CCP's way of handling this and some player's wishes, my critique came quite off. sorry. not that i take all back, but I came from an entirely unneeded angle.

not getting into that again.
for what it's worth, i found OP to be within spirit of CCP intention: reimburse Learning skill points, add 10 to base, have internal +1.1 multiplier on skill points. i'm not going to "die" fighting for it, but it can have my vote.
